SHIPPING POLICY

INTRODUCTION

We are a small team and we do our very best to fulfill orders as efficiently as possible.

All orders from The Art Carte are dispatched from our studio in Nairobi, Kenya. We offer a range of shipping options to cater to your needs, for both local and international orders. We aim to provide reliable shipping services to ensure your package arrives safely and in a timely manner.

In the event that an ordered item is not in stock, or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will let you know a revised turnaround timeline as soon as possible.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders take between 1-4 business days to be fulfilled.

Please note that orders placed on Friday will be fulfilled on Monday. Orders placed during Kenyan National Holidays will be fulfilled the following day.

We offer the following shipping options:

SHIPPING WITHIN NAIROBI

Orders placed before 1000h will be delivered on the same day. Orders placed after 1000h will be delivered the next day. Delivery costs Kshs. 300 within Nairobi. Express Same Day Delivery within Nairobi costs Kshs.500. We also offer free in/store pickup options at Noir Boutique, Muthangari Drive. Please note that during sales periods and high peak seasons, delivery will be anywhere between 24-48 hrs.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE NAIROBI

For deliveries outside Nairobi and within Kenya, shipping cost is calculated at checkout. (300- 500 ksh dependent on location).  Please note that during sales periods delivery will be anywhere between 24-48 hrs.

 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Placing an order elsewhere on Earth? International delivery rates vary between regions and we have done our best to offer a fair, subsidised shipping charge relative to your location. Delivery time frames vary greatly from region to region. Shipping charges are based on your shipping address entered at checkout.

Express Shipping: For fast delivery, we offer Express Shipping through DHL directly from Kenya. This service aims for delivery within one week or less from the time of shipment.

Custom fee as charged by the logistics partner, DHL.

Please select your delivery option at Checkout when you shop online. Shipping costs are automatically calculated in your currency at checkout.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Estimated Delivery Dates will be provided at checkout.

SHIPPING AVAILABILITY 

Please note that depending on the current shipping situation, some options may be temporarily unavailable. We strive to keep all shipping options accessible and will update you on any changes.

DUTIES, TAXES AND IMPORT FEES

Duties and taxes are automatically calculated at checkout and included in the final price. Unless you opt out of this option, your package will be charged no additional taxes upon arrival in the destination country.

Our system also monitors the sales of restricted items to prevent packages from being rejected upon arrival. This ensures a smooth, hassle-free import process.
